Surfing Blackhead

Scored Blackhead on a sunny and glassy day, 3-4 foot swells charging through. Caught perhaps the best wave of my life to date, It was massive and i am adamant the lip was curling over my head. Stoke level was high tonight. Went out with Tom Taylor and his mate. A bit gutted that when duck diving a huge wave, i abandoned my board and the wave pulled the board pulling the string from my legrope through my board. The extent of my disapointment is only matched by my confusion as to how it happened.

Blackhead beach for those who don't know what it looks like. (on a bad day)

Just another weekend

Not up to much during the weekend. Spent a lot of time at the library. Gus came down took me round to have lunch with Georgie. I went surfing with him a couple of times. Once at Blackhead, where you could get some nice rides but the waves were all over the place so it was kinda hard to position yourself. On Sunday we surfed a little left down by Smails (Northern end of the St Clair, St Kilda beach). Nothing going on, the wind was howling offshore and the spray from the crests of the passing waves was like being in a constant shower.

Sunday - Citrus Management

After a gruelling weekend of drunken debauchery, Citrus Management hit us with the force of a mugger in a dark alley. Many great moments but two stand out. Two freshers Paul Bell and Tom Taylor, suited up in orange, each sculling two litres of orange flavoured milk before putting full sized road cones on their heads and charging at each other head first and colliding with such force that it sent the whole crowd reeling. The laughter of the audience could not be contained and sights of the two writhing in agony on the ground enured there was not a dry seat around.
Secondly a strange tradition of Citrus, is the throwing of oranges at full force towards someone while they attempt to drink a bottle of orange juice. The first target Chris von Biel, after pscyhing up his attackers was hit by a bullet of a throw by Sinners in the mouth, causing deep lacerations to his top lip. This was followed by JD hitting him squarely above his genitals leaving a huge welt the size of an orange.
PAIN IS GLORY.....

Saturday

Saturday, Was Brett and Macca's Birthdays so headed round there for a keg party before heading into town,

Friday

Worked all day friday as i have two big Physiology and Anatomy tests in a couple of weeks. Headed out for some St Patricks day hijinks.

Me and Kareem on St Pats day at The Cook. Kareem (the egytptian magician) has accepted the role as one of my apprentices, basically i teach him how to be like me. He also plays in th New Zealand under 19 Soccer team, but thats beside the point

Tom Taylor, (a surfer who went on a GAP year last year), me and Jenna.

Thursday

The Boys, Paul Fabian, KC (Mum you would be intrested to know that he went to SOHS) and Ed Moore, On the piss.
Last weekend was action packed, JDizzle used my bed as a toilet on Thursday while i was surfing at St Clair. making matters worse was the fact that the surf was terrible and nothing was on. I tripped it up to the Octagon to check out Nathan Haines who was playing in the Pop Bar and Eran James an Aussie soul singer in Bath Street, with my mate Ed Moore and his girlfriend.

Later on down Castle Street

Interhall Athletics

Had interhall Athletics last night, Selwyn took out everything, I competed in the 4 by 100m relay and in true chameleon fashion, i smoked it... with a little help from my friends, Ed Moore, Mitch and Chris von Biel.
Later i competed in the 4 by 400m relay and we won but by narrower margins.

AGM

The 2006 Selwyn College AGM went off last night, like a cat with a can full of pebbles tied to its tail. Abuse was flung, Sanitarium was chosen as the brand of choice for all breakfast spreads in the college. Nicknames were given out and the 2006 streak squad was announced with a late inclusion of yours truely, i got naked on the Billiards table in disgust of Peter Mee's WRO (womens rights officer) speech. I'm not sure how long that will last but it was good fun.

This photo has no real relevance to this year, just another testament to the fastest man in Selwyn, "Te Chameleon"

Gustafarian

Caught up with Gus for the first time in about 4 months, and checked out a few breaks and had a good time, was off-shore in some places but fat and sloppy, and a bit uninspiring. I saw his Subaru GTB for the first time, a quick little machine. Looking forward to a day full of study, and the AGM in Cats, Probably going to get chopped and be abusive.
