Holidays

Finished Exams yesterday and currently await my results. The surfboard has been put in the closet, having lost all desire to hit the freezing antarctic swells. Can't wait to trip it up to Nelson for the midyear holidays to stay and work with my mate Nick. He tells me west coast surfing isn't cold, and pretty uncrowded.

Selwyn vs. Knox Athletics

Biggest day of the year for two colleges that drew massive crowds. Winning 7 out of the 8 races, the Selwyn footracers went home extremely happy. I ran in the 100m and 200m races and was delighted with a 10.83 second 100m time. The ensuing court session was another spectacle with massive couch burning ceremonies in the middle of the street and the traditional chunder mile. Contestants have to drink two jugs of beer, run a mile around Dunedin and then eat a cold pie covered in tobasco sauce.
