Flight home

The flight back to vegas was an absolute debacle. missing my flight by five minutes, carrying a bag that was 35 kg (13 kg over the health and safety limit) and flying a surfboard home that had no carry case...
Missing my flight cost me $140. I normally would have to pay $80. However due to carrying "no hand luggage" i was allowed to leave it in my bag... this was good because i left my friend Cate standing out of sight with my 20kg worth of books etc which I took on the plane with me. All in all i felt like a bit of a cowboy taking 55 kg of luggage (25 over the allowable limit)...
You'd be pleased to know Gusto that the board made it through untouched, but owing to its existing state. How would you know?
